Origin Spotlight — Ethiopia Guji, Mount Kayon

Kayon Mountain Coffee Farm is located in the forested highlands of Odo Shakiso, in the Guji region of Ethiopia. Run by Ismael Hassen and his family, Kayon Mountain Farm spans 500 hectares, of which 300 are dedicated to coffee production, while the rest remain preserved as a protected forest area.
This particular lot was selectively hand-picked then slow dried on raised African beds, leading to distinct notes of mango, grapefruit, and coconut – a uniquely tropical flavor profile that is reminiscent of drinking a mango lassi.
Have a specific preference?
Let us know if you want something darker, lighter, funkier, suitable for specific brew methods, etc. We’ll roast something according to your preference!

Our roasting setup and coffee corner

In a 520sqft Hong Kong apartment, our coffee roastery was born from a passion for precision, quality, and highlighting unique origins. In particular, we love sourcing beans directly from farms in Indonesia that are pushing Indonesian coffee to new heights. You’ll often see Indonesian beans in our featured coffees, though we also love coffee from South America and Africa.
From there, we roast small batches on a ROEST and Aillio Bullet R1 to highlight distinct origin characteristics and innovative processing methods.
